Replaying through Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order this past week ahead of the launch of Jedi: Survivor tomorrow, April 28, has been an exciting build up to the sequel’s release. Meeting Merrin the Night Sister, fighting alongside Cere and unlocking Cal’s full potential as a Jedi Knight was thrilling and has me super excited to carry on Cal’s story. Set 5 years beyond the events of Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sees Cal enlist the help of old friends and new companions in his fight against the growing threat of the Empire across the galaxy. A new launch trailer was revealed at Star Wars Celebration in London earlier this month by Respawn Entertainment, EA, and Lucasfilm Games which shows off the final gameplay tease before release.
Familiar friends and new allies – Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), Merrin (Tina Ivlev), and the newly introduced mercenary Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) – stand by Cal’s side against the Empire and galaxy’s most ruthless foes. Cal’s quest will take him to new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, including Koboh, which is the home of the Bedlam Raiders. Discover new planets and revisit familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, each with unique biomes, challenges, and enemies. Master new skills, equipment, and abilities as you traverse grandiose landscapes and take roads less traveled; players who adventure beyond the horizon will be rewarded handsomely.
Players can build upon Cal’s training with an expanded list of combat stances and lightsaber customizations that can be combined in new and different ways to fight as a Jedi. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats both new and familiar as he decides how far he’s willing to go to save those closest to him.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC which promises an even deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches on April 28, 2023.
