Get a First Look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

[Editor’s Note December 14: The new gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released at The Game Awards and is below for your viewing pleasure, along with a release date of March 16, 2023.]

It’s the news Johnny and I have been waiting for since the game was first announced back in May at Star Wars Celebration. After the third anniversary last month of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, we are finally going to get a first look at the 2023 release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at The Game Awards on December 8 (early hours of December 9 for us in ANZ).

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor picks up five years after the events of the previous game. Cal Kestis has remained one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he begins to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Accompanied by his trusty companion BD-1, Cal will meet and ally himself with unique and interesting characters on his journey. In order to survive, Cal must evolve as a Jedi, learning new skills and growing his connection with the Force. The new key art for Jedi: Survivor has also been revealed which is very exciting.

The Game Awards, the games industry’s year-end celebration, will be held in the early hours of Friday morning for us Aussies and can be watched on YouTube, Twitter or Twitch. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC which promises an even deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches on March 16, 2023.
