New AI-powered Never Ending Dungeon

I haven’t played a proper tabletop RPG before myself, but Johnny has been playing and DM’ing campaigns for many years. I imagine the role of the DM can be both rewarding and stressful, so there’s a program that caught my eye this evening that I had to share. Spellarena are a collective of DMs, game designers and artists passionate about RPGs who enjoy creating all kinds of content for fantasy settings. They have just released a trailer of their new AI-powered TTRPG software – Never Ending Dungeon. NED is an AI-powered revolutionary app for adventures and map creation for Tabletop RPGs. Rather than manually crafting maps and spending countless hours on creating a quest, NED allows you to use the power of AI to create all you need in mere seconds.

With the new trailer, Never Ending Dungeon has launched a Steam page that allows you to delve deeper into what features NED offers. What attracts the most attention is the option to run an entire session in Never Ending Dungeon with AI generated adventures and maps. The Kickstarter campaign has been widely successful, raising over AUD600,000, and is currently continuing its development on Indiegogo. During the campaign, NED hit multiple Stretch Goals, and the Spellarena team is currently working on their implementation and development. Most notable are the eleven unique settings ranging from classic Fantasy Dungeon to Cyberpunk Streets.

Never Ending Dungeon looks to be a lifesaver for DMs. All it takes to generate an entire session is one click, and NED will create a map, story, monsters, and NPCs with stats and backstories. Never Ending Dungeon will allow you to focus on the most important thing – spending time engrossed in the game with your friends. It sounds incredible and I can’t wait to see it in action.

There is no release date yet for Never Ending Dungeon however you can pledge to their Indiegogo page to get your hands on the Tech Alpha available right now. You can also add Never Ending Dungeon to your Steam Wishlist to keep up to date with their progress. This is definitely a project to keep a close eye on.
