Outriders Worldslayer Launches Tonight

Square Enix will launch Outriders Worldslayer tonight, a massive upgrade for Outriders, the high-intensity looter shooter where survival demands aggression from People Can Fly, the developers of Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm, and Square Enix External Studios, the minds behind Sleeping Dogs and Just Cause.

Outriders released back in April 2021 and is a brutal 1-3 player co-op looter shooter set in an original, dark sci-fi universe, where you create will your own Outrider from one of four powerful classes. Players can begin with the original Outriders campaign or use the all-new Level 30 Boost to jump straight into the Worldslayer content with a fully geared up Outrider and journey across the diverse and deadly planet of Enoch.

Face off against the most deadly Altered ever encountered, Ereshkigal, in humanity’s last fight for survival. Beyond her, even greater horrors exist in the ultimate endgame experience, taking place in the ancient ruins of Tarya Gratar. Combining aggressive gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted customisable weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders Worldslayer offers countless hours of visceral gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.

Key new features available with the Outriders Worldslayer DLC:

Pax Trees
Introducing the Pax Trees. 2 additional skill tree branches per class extend your build customization options for deeper specialization or new hybrid builds.

Ascension Points
A long-term progression system purely designed to make you even stronger. Kill enemies, collect XP and level up to further specialise your build within the four categories of Ascension Points. Customise your Outriders in Brutality, Endurance, Prowess and Anomaly.

Apocalypse Tiers
The new Apocalypse Tier System increases your Max Gear Equip Level, increases Difficulty Tiers and most importantly improves Loot across both campaign and endgame.

Apocalypse Loot
New Apocalypse weaponry and armour makes you even more brutal than ever before. Dedicated class specific full Legendary armour sets plus universally equipable 3 piece sets are available to be found. All with set bonuses.

Third Mod Slot
All new Apocalypse gear has that deadly new third mod slot for increased killing power and customization.

New Mods
Loads of new Mods to enhance both your survivability or damage dealing abilities in a variety of spectacularly brutal ways.

Power
Adapt your abilities and skills across vast Class Skill Trees and Pax Trees for additional hybrid branch boosts. Challenge yourself against all Apocalypse Tiers with your burgeoning power and boost your Ascension Points of Brutality, Endurance, Prowess and Anomaly.

End Game
Earn incredible loot as you dominate across endgame Expeditions or face new horrors in the ancient city of Tarya Gratar.

Boost In
Further develop your existing character(s) or use the new boost to roll a geared up level 30 Outrider, ready to jump start into the relentless action.
