Str8JaktJimNintendo and Bethesda are returning for PAX Aus 2023! PAX Aus announced this momentous occasion in the lead up to the convention’s 10th anniversary.
If there was one shortfall of PAX Aus 2022 it was the lack of AAA developers. That gave the indie developers present more space to be seen, but the lack of big studios was noticed.
Big Hitters Returning For PAX Aus 2023
Nintendo are joining the main floor with the Splatoon 3 AU/NZ Championship 2023. Mario Kart fans also have the chance to compete in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe AU/NZ Championship 2023. Both events culminate in live finals in PAX Arena. Teams can learn more about qualifying online for this epic showdown on Nintendo Australia’s website.
After holding an event away from the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre last year, Bethesda are also returning for PAX Aus 2023. Reports from their 2022 event were mixed, with a common thread of too many attendees and not enough to do. With a space on the floor for 2023, the experience is sure to be much improved. Stay tuned over social media in the coming weeks for more information about the awesome experiences they will be bringing to PAX!

Devolver Digital, Audio-Technica, ASUS ROG, Aftershock PC, Cooler Master, HTC Vive, Corsair, MSI, Crunchyroll and more will also be returning for PAX Aus 2023.
NetEase Games and Ukiyo Studios will be bringing their titles to PAX Aus. PikPok Games from across the ditch will also being joining PAX Aus’s 10th year, bringing an exclusive demo of Into the Dead: Out Darkest Days with them.
PAX Rising will again see some of the best indie developers in Australia bringing their exceptional talent to the expo floor. The 10 winners of the PAX Aus Indie Showcase will also be found in the digital and tabletop areas.
Show staples will be returning for PAX Aus 2023 as well. Compelling panels, tournaments, and cosplay championships will be running all weekend, along with much more!
PAX Aus 2023 takes place October 6-8 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Three-day badges have sold out but there are still limited Saturday badges available. Tickets can be purchased through the PAX Aus website.
