Chris InglisEarlier today, Xbox announced Xbox Design Lab is launching in 11 new countries and yes, finally we are getting access to this wonderful feature here in Australia! Xbox Design Lab gives players the opportunity to express their personalities through customising their own Xbox Wireless Controller. Fans can personalise nearly all the external parts of the controller from the body to the buttons to match their style, tell a story or celebrate a special moment.
The other countries getting it are New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Slovakia, and Switzerland, and we’ll add Taiwan later this summer. Also announced today are some new pastel colors – Soft Orange, Soft Pink, Soft Green, and Soft Purple – and new Camo Top cases with matching side caps, including Mineral Camo, Arctic Camo, Forest Camo, Sandglow Camo and Blaze Camo.
- Pick your colours – Choose from a palette of 29 colours, now including pastel colours and camo patterns.
- Select button styles – Choose from a variety of styles to match your colour scheme.
- Personalise it – Add optional metallic finishes, rubberised grips or engraving for a personalised touch.
- Build it! – Place your order and Xbox will build and deliver your custom controller within 28 days of purchase.
