Earlier this week, Focus Entertainment and Pathea Games announced that the official 1.0 launch of My Time at Sandrock will arrive on September 26. The game has been on Steam early access for the past 16 months and has seen a heap of regular updates, improvements, bug fixing, playtesting and adding all types of content with special attention for its growing community’s requests. This sequel to the hit 2019’s sandbox RPG My Time at Portia extends and elevates the wholesome experience in an engrossing post-apocalyptic open world filled with deep RPG progression and mechanics, engaging quests and charismatic characters.
My Time at Sandrock takes place in a wholesome post-apocalyptic world 330 years after the Day of Calamity destroyed most modern technologies. After accepting a job offer to become Sandrock’s newest Builder, you’ll arrive in the wild and rugged city-state, where it’s up to you and your trusty tools to restore the community to its former glory. Gather resources to build machines with your trusty tools, grow relationships with locals, and unlock new perks and abilities to improve your workflow, combat and more—all while defending Sandrock from monsters and saving the town from economic ruin!
Players can explore the vast deserts surrounding the town, diving into ruins to dig for Old World relics, seeking materials in hard-to-reach locations, or just relaxing. There is a detailed story to pay through with hundreds of side quests and over 30 new characters. Spend time getting to know the people of Sandrock, uncovering their backstories and making meaningful connections along the way.
My Time at Sandrock is currently available on Steam Early Access and the Epic Games Store and the 1.0 PC launch on September 26 will coincide with releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S. It is expected to arrive on PlayStation 4 shortly after.
