Chris InglisColossal Cave, the 3D reimagining of the 1976 original game by Will Crowther and Don Woods, is set for release this week and we have been fortunate enough to play through the game early thanks to Stride PR and Cygnus Entertainment. Ken and Roberta Williams, founders of Sierra On-Line, have been out of the game development business for 25 years but are back with this new game that will be releasing on Meta Quest 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as Steam, The Epic Games Store, Humble, Itch.io, and Amazon on January 20, 2023, for us in ANZ.

Our final review will come out closer to release but for now we have put together a short PC gameplay preview showing the first moments in the game and explain some of the mechanics you will use to search the Colossal Cave for treasures, meeting some interesting characters along the way.
