Chris InglisHooded Horse has announced a new partnership with the acclaimed French strategy studio, Amplitude. This exciting collaboration will see Hooded Horse publishing Amplitude’s highly anticipated next title, ENDLESS Legend 2. The announcement was made during Amplitude’s annual Amplified community event at the end of January, generating significant excitement within the strategy gaming community.
This new turn-based epic will join Hooded Horse‘s impressive portfolio of world-class strategic and tactical games, further solidifying their commitment to bringing exceptional strategy experiences to players worldwide. For over a decade, Amplitude Studios has established itself as a leading force in the strategy genre. They first entered the 4X space with the critically acclaimed ENDLESS Space (2012) and its sequel (2017), followed by the beloved fantasy title ENDLESS Legend (2014), and the historical epic HUMANKIND (2021).
Many strategy fans, including myself, have fond memories of Amplitude’s previous work. I personally spent several hours immersed in the original ENDLESS Legend when it first launched. Its release came at a time when I was eager for a fresh 4X experience after countless hours spent in Civilization V (2010), and the unique fantasy setting of ENDLESS Legend truly captured my imagination.
Now, Amplitude is set to return to the Endless Universe with ENDLESS Legend 2, marking the next entry in the award-winning fantasy strategy series. This new title promises to elevate the turn-based strategy genre to new heights. Players will once again be immersed in Amplitude’s unique and captivating setting, this time exploring a brand-new and mysterious world brimming with untold secrets, four unique factions at the early access with two more to be added by full release, and epic storytelling.
