Return to Monkey Island has Launched

After years of waiting, the time is now upon us. What started 30 years ago as one of the first point-and-click adventure games, and one of the very first PC games I ever played with Secret of Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert and the team at Terrible Toybox have released the latest game in the Monkey Island franchise, Return to Monkey Island.

Available to play on Steam and Nintendo Switch, players must prepare themselves for mystery, intrigue and numerous info pamphlets. The story for Return to Monkey Island picks up the story of Guybrush Threepwood at the conclusion of 1991’s Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. This game features the likes of Dominic Armato who originally voiced Guybrush Threepwood, as well as the original LucasArts musicians who provided the game’s music.

I’m very much looking forward to diving into the game, so keep an eye out for our review coming soon and it’s available now on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
