Starborne: Frontiers is a squad-based mobile experience for sci-fi fans that soft launched on iOS and Android devices last year. With 100,000 mobile downloads and 10,000 alliances created, Starborne: Frontiers continued its path to success when Solid Clouds launched the game on PC in June 2024. PC players can finally join the action and dive into the ever-expanding universe of Starborne by downloading the game from the official website.
New players can experience a game that has been finely tuned in all aspects. Starborne: Frontiers has received numerous updates during its soft launch all influenced by player feedback. Additions included highly requested holiday events and the release of the Abyss. The Abyss is the biggest game mode to date and gives players the agency to explore a non-linear map and complete encounters on their terms. Players who take the beaten path are rewarded with in-game goodies to aid their galactic journey. They may even be tasked with making difficult command decisions that impact their rewards.
The biggest aspect of the Abyss is the mystery surrounding it, from the mysterious Harvesters that guard its depths, and their zombie-like minions, to its abundance of valuable resources. Appearing out of nowhere, its origin is unknown. Players can uncover its secrets as they play through the main campaign before being sent to the heart of the Abyss to save the galaxy.

One aspect of the gameplay is collecting and upgrading ships. With dozens of pieces of equipment, multiple sets, and a multitude of combinations, players can customise their fleet in unique ways. However, strategic choices both on and off the battlefield will determine the fate of the player’s fleet. On the battlefield, players can arrange their ships into near-limitless formations. Choosing the units that work best with each other is crucial.
Global launch is not the end for Starborne: Frontiers. The game will receive regular updates with exciting new features and ways to play. Players are invited to join the Discord server to leave feedback and help shape the game’s future. Reflecting on the development journey, CEO Stefan Gunnarson said:
“It’s exciting to finally launch Starborne: Frontiers on a global scale after 3 years of dedication. I am proud to say that we have succeeded in bringing a polished game that expands the Starborne universe to mobile gamers. With countless updates based on community feedback, we have created a game that sets the barrier for what mobile gaming can be in terms of graphics and tactical gameplay. I believe we have created something special, and I am excited for players to join the next step in our journey.”

Assemble the ultimate fleet and master the battlefield with limitless formations to choose from. Choose your team wisely to defeat bosses with unique mechanics. Starborne: Frontiers can be played on Google Play, Appstore or starborne.com.
