When not in use, the arms can seem like they stick out, but it all depends on placement.
I reviewed the black model which has a great base profile that melded with my black computer desk and monitor frame. The compact footprint minimizes desk space and the adjustable tilt on the iPhone pad offers a comfortable viewing angle for watching videos or browsing the web while charging. The product ships with a 36W power supply which is hard-wired to the unit, with a USB-C cable included in the pack.
Where the Belkin BoostCharge Pro truly shines are its functionality with Qi2 compatibility which is the latest standard in wireless charging technology. The MagSafe technology ensures a secure and aligned connection for your iPhone 12 models and later, delivering up to 15W of fast charging power with no cables to worry about. This unit is also compatible with iPhone cases up to 3mm in thickness.
The magnetic charging module also provides 5W of charging power to restore your Apple Watch to 80% battery in just 45 minutes, and 5W for the AirPods. The Apple Watch side of the stand is at a fixed angle and not tiltable like the iPhone side. I personally don’t use AirPods that often, but for my watch and iPhone, this is perfect for those mornings when you’re busy getting the kids ready for school and can quickly charge your devices before rushing out the door.
The stand incorporates built-in safety features to protect your devices from overcurrent, overheating, and other potential hazards. This ensures you can leave your devices charging knowing they’re protected against common charging mishaps and safeguards your device’s battery life. The only downside at this point is the device is limited to iPhones that have the Qi2 technology compatibility.
The Belkin BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand is an all-in-one solution that you can position on your desk to avoid clutter and keeps your devices powered up. The LED display and tiltable iPhone pad keeps the aesthetic looking good and charges while watching a movie. This is a premium product with new Qi2 technology, so it comes with a decent price tag to match at AU$229.95. However, I feel it’s a worthwhile investment to be able to charge three Apple products at the same time, efficiently and safely.
